Company Description

Edgemere Farm is a volunteer-run half-acre urban farm in Far Rockaway, NY. We grow vegetables, flowers, and herbs after organic practices, and raise chickens and bees.
Supported by NYC Parks / GreenThumb, GrowNYC, and Partnerships For Parks, the farm is a volunteer-run, zero-profit organization with a mission of education, food justice, and increasing capacity for both the production of food and the processing of food waste on the Rockaway Peninsula.

The farm is open April 5 - November 17, 2023
