Company Description
Randy personally welcomes you to Spirits of Norway Vineyard & Winery, which is located in the Historic Town of Norway, Racine County, Wisconsin. The proud heritage of the Town of Norway, dates back to 1839, when a group of 40 Norwegian immigrants settled the area because of the rich growing soil. The first Norwegian Lutheran Church in America, was build here in 1843. Growing from that, in 1847 the Town of Norway was officially established and governed.
Today, some 182 years later, Spirits of Norway Vineyard continues to utilize the rich soil by growing winter hardy, hybrid wine grapes. After careful consideration, their selection of grapes include Marquette, Brianna, Marechal Foch, Frontenac, Frontenac Blanc, Frontenac Gris, Catawba, Somerset, Itasca, St. Pepin, Leon Millot and Petite Pearl.
